Patna: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit three key districts of Bihar Khagaria, Munger, and Bihar Sharif on Saturday as the state gears up for the Assembly elections. The Amit Shah will start Campaign in Khagaria at 11 a.m., move to Munger at noon, and conclude with a public rally in Bihar Sharif at 3 p.m.
Authorities have imposed restrictions, including a temporary ban on heavy and light vehicles along major routes to the Labour Welfare Centre grounds, to maintain smooth traffic and tight security during Shah’s visit as part of the Amit Shah Campaign.
Shah attacked RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and the Mahagathbandhan at a massive rally in Siwan, accusing them of trying to revive Bihar’s notorious “jungle raj” era. The Amit Shah aims to counter this narrative.
“By giving a ticket to Shahabuddin’s son, Lalu Yadav aims to intimidate people and bring back lawlessness,” Shah said. “The people of Siwan suffered during the jungle raj, but today this is Modi-Nitish Bihar. Even a hundred Shahabuddins cannot harm anyone now.”
He praised Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for ending jungle raj, calling it his biggest achievement and emphasizing the state’s progress under NDA governance. Shah also highlighted Siwan’s historical significance, noting its connections to India’s first President, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Mahatma Gandhi, and Madan Mohan Malaviya during the Champaran movement, which Shah referred to as part of the ongoing Amit Shah Campaign.
During his rallies in Khagaria, Munger, and Bihar Sharif, Shah will energize supporters, consolidate the party’s base, and highlight governance and development achievements ahead of the November 14 polls, solidifying the Amit Shah Campaign’s objectives.
