Mumbai : The festive fervour of Durga Puja continues to bring Bollywood’s biggest stars under one roof, as Alia Bhatt Golden Saree look turned heads when she made a graceful appearance at the North Bombay Durga Puja Pandal.
Dressed in a stunning golden saree with a sequined blouse and an embroidered dupatta draped elegantly, Alia radiated charm as she joined the celebrations. Rani Mukerji, standing beside her in a traditional blue saree, exuded poise and festive grace.
The North Bombay Durga Puja Pandal has remained a cultural and religious landmark in Mumbai for nearly seven decades. Rani Mukerji holds it close to her heart, as her grandmother started the pandal, which over the years has grown into a hub for Bollywood during Durga Puja festivities.
Actress Tanishaa Mukerji welcomed Alia warmly at the pandal, ushering her with affection. Filmmaker Ayan Mukerji, Rani’s first cousin and a proud member of the illustrious Mukherjee family tree that also includes Kajol, actively interacted with guests and devotees during the rituals. Alia shares a strong professional bond with Ayan, having collaborated with him on the 2022 hit Brahmastra Part 1: Shiva, where she starred alongside her husband, Ranbir Kapoor.
During the shoot of the film, Ranbir and Alia fell in love and later tied the knot, making their reel-life collaboration a turning point in real life as well. Earlier in the day, filmmaker Karan Johar offered prayers at the pandal. His visit sparked a heartwarming reunion with Rani Mukerji, his close friend and long-time collaborator. Their camaraderie, spanning more than two decades, delighted fans who cherished seeing them together again. Ayan and Shrabani Mukherjee welcomed Karan with love and warmth, adding a nostalgic touch to the grand celebration.
