Renowned Ollywood music director and singer Abhijit Majumdar has shown encouraging signs of recovery after a critical health battle.
Currently admitted at AIIMS Bhubaneswar, Majumdar has been shifted from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to the general medicine ward, signalling a positive turn in his condition.
Hospital sources confirmed that Majumdar, who was suffering from pneumonia and liver-related ailments, responded well to treatment over the past week. Six days ago, he was moved from ventilator support to the ICU, following improvements in his lung infection.
Abhijit Majumdar has been under medical care for the past 20 days, a development that shocked fans and fellow celebrities across Odisha. Doctors at AIIMS noted slight improvement in his neuromuscular condition, although he continues to receive treatment for liver cirrhosis.
Initially admitted to a private hospital in Cuttack, Majumdar was later transferred to AIIMS Bhubaneswar as his condition worsened. His family, fans, and well-wishers have expressed hope and prayers for his speedy recovery.
