AAP Third List Bihar Polls : 28 New Candidates Announced as Party Steps Up Campaign
Patna : The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Saturday announced its third list of 28 candidates for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections, thereby intensifying its preparations for the high-stakes contest. This AAP third list for Bihar polls aims to strengthen the party’s position across several key constituencies and boost its presence on the ground.

The list features Shashi Bhushan Tiwari (Lauriya), Arjun Kumar Sinha (Bettiah), Gaysaudin Samaini (Sugauli), and Ranjan Kumar (Samastipur), among others. These AAP third list Bihar polls candidates are likely to add both momentum and visibility to the party’s expanding campaign. Moreover, AAP hopes the inclusion of fresh faces will help connect better with local voters.
Earlier on Tuesday, AAP released its second list of 48 candidates. That list included Prem Prapt Singh (Chapra), Rajendra Prasad Singh (Lalganj), Aditya Lal (Purnia), and Inderjeet Jyotikar (Hathua). The announcement of the AAP third list Bihar polls therefore marks another strategic step in the party’s effort to widen its electoral footprint in Bihar.
Additionally, the first list introduced 11 candidates, showing AAP’s gradual and structured rollout of its contesting lineup. Through these phased announcements, the party continues to build momentum for its campaign.
JD(U) and CPI(ML) Also Step Up Election Preparations
Meanwhile, CPI(ML), a key member of the Mahagathbandhan alliance, announced 20 candidates on Saturday, signaling a parallel surge in pre-poll activity among major parties.
On October 16, the Janata Dal (United) unveiled its second list of 44 candidates, featuring several prominent leaders, sitting MLAs, and emerging faces from diverse backgrounds. The move reflects its strategy to balance experience with new energy.
With this announcement, JD(U) ramped up its statewide campaign. In its statement, the party congratulated the candidates and emphasized its goal to promote inclusive development under Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s leadership.
Key JD(U) candidates include Dhirendra Pratap Singh alias Rinku Singh (Valmikinagar), Leshi Singh (Dhamdaha), Jayant Raj (Amarpur), Mahabali Singh (Karakat), and Sumit Kumar Singh (Chakai). Other important names are Samridh Verma (Sikta), Shweta Gupta (Sheohar), Pankaj Mishra (Runnisaidpur), Sudhanshu Shekhar (Harlakhi), Meena Kamat (Babubarhi), Sheela Mandal (Phulparas), Satish Sah (Laukaha), Aniruddh Prasad Yadav (Nirmali), Vijendra Prasad Yadav (Supaul), Bulo Mandal (Gopalpur), Lalit Narayan Mandal (Sultanganj), Manorama Devi (Belaganj), Chetan Anand (Navinagar), and Vibha Devi (Nawada).
Bihar will go to polls in two phases, on November 6 and 11, and the results will be declared on November 14. Candidates can file nominations for the first phase until October 17.
