Mumbai : On Teacher’s Day, Bollywood actress Bhagyashree honoured her gurus and expressed gratitude to her teachers, while sharing stills from her movie Sajni Shinde Ka Viral Video, where she played the role of a school principal.
Bhagyashree captioned the post: “Jis school ke tum padhte ho, uski mein Principal hoon! (I am the principal of the same school of which you are a student.) Sajni Shinde Ka Viral Video showed a different side of me as an actor, portraying an upright principal ready to protect the school’s image—even if it meant being the devil.”
She highlighted the lifelong impact of teachers, stating, “I have the highest regard for teachers who spend their lives laying the foundation and building values for our children. My own school, @jamnabai.narsee.school, remains an important part of my life. Never forget your gurus, just as you never forget your roots. Wishing all my teachers, and those of my children, a very Happy Teacher’s Day!”
The movie Sajni Shinde Ka Viral Video received positive reviews from critics and featured a strong ensemble cast including Nimrat Kaur, Radhika Madan, Subodh Bhave, and Bhagyashree herself.
Earlier, on September 4, Bhagyashree shared a video celebrating Onam Ashamsakal, where she looked stunning in a pearl-white saree with golden borders and motifs. She chose the song “Mann Kyun Behka” from Rekha’s iconic movie Utsav, paying tribute to the veteran actress.
Looking ahead, Bhagyashree will star in the upcoming movie Raja Shivaji, directed by Riteish Deshmukh. The film will also feature Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan, Genelia Deshmukh, Mahesh Manjrekar, and Fardeen Khan, and is slated for a May 2026 release.
