Bhubaneswar, Odisha : Opposition leader and former Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has been admitted to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar after reportedly feeling unwell.
According to hospital authorities, Patnaik is currently under medical observation. A team of doctors had visited his residence last night for a health check-up, but on Sunday he was shifted to a private hospital for further treatment.
Earlier in June, the veteran leader had travelled to Mumbai for treatment of cervical arthritis at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. He underwent a surgical procedure there and returned to Bhubaneswar a few days ago. Since his return, doctors had been closely monitoring his health condition.
Hospital sources confirmed that Patnaik is stable, and further updates on his health will be shared soon.
