Bhubaneswar : Amid swirling rumors of a potential Cabinet reshuffle in Odisha, a high-level meeting at Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi’s residence on Sunday evening sparked fresh political curiosity. However, BJP State President Manmohan Samal categorically denied that any discussion on reshuffling the Cabinet or party organization took place.
Speaking to media after the meeting, Samal clarified, “It was a routine interaction held in view of the visit of our state in-charge Vijaypal Singh Tomar, who is here for a few days. No deliberations were made regarding changes in government portfolios, party structure, or corporations.”
He further stated that he would soon travel to New Delhi again to consult with the party’s central leadership, but did not disclose any specifics about the agenda of his upcoming visit.
Apart from CM Majhi, BJP Odisha President Samal, and in-charge Tomar, several senior ministers were present at the meeting, fueling public speculation. Notably, this comes just a day after a similar late-night strategy session extended until 2 AM, further intensifying chatter in political circles.
